I phoned the shop to see if they had any openings. It's an all-walk-in shop, and the barber told me, "It's quiet now, why don't you come as soon as you can." I got there 15 minutes later and there was only one guy in front of. Doug sat me down in his chair. He was attentive and asked about my preferences for a hair cut. He got to work, very friendly and kind. Shaved my neck and side-burns. A great job, for only $20. I'm going back here again!! Parking right outside the shop.
FYI, CASH ONLY, so be prepared. Don't be turned off by the no-nonsense attitude of the owner, and make sure you know what you want before you come in. The pictures on the wall are helpful. If you need a good cut at a good price in about 10 minutes, this is where to go. Be prepared to wait outside. There is a line for a good reason. $18 for a regular cut these days is fantastic.
Great haircut for under 20 bucks. Adelina and Fernando are the best! I have not tried the other Barbers because these two are always available when I walk in. Great experience with the welcome familiar feeling. Definitely recommend giving them a try. It's nothing fancy but just a great neighborhood barbershop.
