I’ve been getting my hair cut by Carlos at Otter Stop by the Bay Barbershop for about five years, and he’s hands‑down the best barber. He’s consistent and detail‑oriented. Every visit is comfortable, and the shop has a great vibe and is clean.

This past Monday, December 30th, I visited Otter Stop by the Bay for the first time. I’m originally from Queens, so finding a new barber hasn’t been easy since moving to San Diego.
My wife recommended Otter Stop by the Bay, and booking was smooth through their Square integration. My appointment was around 1 p.m., the commute was easy, and while parking was a bit confusing at first, I quickly realized it’s street parking only and honestly, not bad at all.
