When it comes to Overseas Suitability Screenings for dependents, they are completely unreliable here. They won’t pick up phone calls, respond to emails, review your packets on DoDSafe, and have you wait in the lobby for hours to ask a question. If you want to save your time, don’t come here.

Confusing, poor signage….”You are in the wrong line.”. I can’t even describe the lack of guidance. It’s crazy that just picking up a prescription is so difficult. Yes, I appreciate that my prescriptions are free. Still, it is confusing. They need to “walk the problem”.
    Staff are wonderful people.

Dr tu is very dismissive, LAUGHED at me when I told him I was having problems with anxiety & other things this was my second appointment since he said I had “too many problems” and had to split it into many appointments and didn’t even let me finish the list of things I wanted to talk about before telling me goodbye unprofessional and rude ended up leaving with no help and cried in the car with my toddler

The pharmacy is horrible; staff doesn’t work, and it takes forever to fill a medication. Why has DOGE not investigated Navy pharmacies?

does anyone pick up their phone here??? trying to get OSS completed and no one is answering. don’t give out check lists with TO DO items when you don’t do your part. what kind of crock of crap is this?

is leadership picking their nose with all these complaints? people got timelines that they have to meet.

don’t make things as requirements if the clinic is not going to do their part, like picking up the phone to start.

This place wasn't so bad when we first moved here, but now if you need an appointment, you are waiting at least two months; God forbid you are sick! Then once you finally show up, you wait, probably don't even see your doctor, and have to interact with the most unprofessional staff in existence. I strongly recommend a different location or a civilian provider because this place is awful.

Phone number seems to not work or it just always has the busy signal and hangs up automatically. Every time I have gone in to pick up my meds, after being told it was ready, it’s not even close to being ready. This pharmacy is terrible and the staff isn’t always nice either!!

I had an OSS appointment scheduled for 10:30am on 11/13/25, and the entire experience was extremely unprofessional and frustrating. When I arrived at the OSS clinic area, no one acknowledged me. There was no one at the front desk, no signage about how to check in, and two female sailors working in room B136 who saw me—and others—walk in but said nothing.

A male sailor eventually walked into B136, so I went to the room to ask if I needed to check in. I told them clearly that I was there for a screening and that my appointment was at 10:30am. It was 10:22am at that point. The male sailor told me that check-in wasn’t necessary because the OSS team had a roster and would call me back at my appointment time.

I then waited over one full hour without anyone calling my name or even stepping into the waiting area to check who was present. The same female sailors continued coming out of their office throughout the hour and still said nothing to me, despite seeing me sitting there the entire time.

After over an hour, I asked one of them whether screenings normally take this long and mentioned that my appointment had been over an hour ago. Shockingly, she replied, “Oh, I thought you were a no-show.” This made absolutely no sense—she had seen me sitting there for over an hour, and she was the one who heard me ask about checking in before my appointment time. She also never once came out to call my name, so how could she assume I wasn’t there?

She finally took my packet around 11:45am and reviewed it for about 15 minutes before telling me I needed one last signature from the Navy dental clinic. Because OSS delayed me by over an hour, I arrived at the dental clinic at 12:15pm—right as they closed for lunch—so I had to wait for the office to reopen.

After getting the signature and returning the packet to OSS, the same sailor told me she needed to review it again and then schedule a phone call with the doctor. By the time I got my follow-up appointment details, it was 3:05pm.

I had arrived early for my 10:30am appointment, yet I did not leave NTC until 3:10pm—and then got stuck in traffic on top of everything else. If the OSS staff had shown basic customer service, attentiveness, or clear communication, I would not have been made to wait over an hour without being called, sent to a clinic that was already closed because of their delay, or kept on base for nearly the entire day.

This was a genuinely awful experience, and the lack of organization and accountability from the OSS staff was unacceptable.

Terrible. Undermanned. Do not follow hours advertised. Expect hour wait times. Doctor forgot to do part of appointment procedures and requested I came back in Just to wait an hour to be seen again.

Had gout was told to go to the Er. Then makes and appointment for Dr Chao 2 months out. Ridiculous. Then children needed routine check ups was told to go to the Er if it was an emergency. After numerous calls, extremely long wait time, after 3 times calling and waiting, they just hung up. I gave up.
