I typically get my nails done closer to home in La Mesa. But I was at work, I broke a nail and I am leaving for vacation tomorrow morning. So I decided to jump on Yelp to see if there is a good nail salon by job that I could get my nails done at. After reading some reviews for Nails by Ann, I called and requested May, because I saw her name in a few positive reviews. I made and appointment and came on my lunch break and I was NOT disappointed, not only was May friendly and professional, she did a great job on my fill. She is experienced and reshaped them exactly lie I like them! In addition to May, the entire staff was friendly and the inside is very clean and nicely decorated. I will be back for a pedicure when I return from vacation. Try them out, you won't be disappointed!
I always love coming here--its such a treat! They consistently provide great quality and excellent service. I followed Lilly to this salon and couldn't be happier. The space is very clean and professional; everyone is asked to wash their hands before service, and the pedicure chair systems are sanitized and offer relaxing massage options. Ask for Lilly! She can be a little tricky to book at times because she's in high demand, but she always finds a way to fit you in. She's not only incredibly skilled but truly an artist. She uses her training, talent, and years of experience to tailor each manicure to her clients' individual needs. Lilly is also so easy to talk to--she listens and responds to your requests without you having to be worried about judgment or shaming lol. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in the results. The nails she does for me easily last over three plus weeks, which is a lifesaver for me as a working mom of three wild school-age kids! Highly recommend.
This place is so good and May is the best!! I showed her a picture of this chrome set that I wanted, and she went out of her way to test 5 different colors on acrylic tips and put the chrome on each to find the exact match that I wanted. And then she did my set perfectly. Definitely recommend and ask for May!!
