The pavilion features ample, quality seating with electrical plugs, and offers views and clean bathrooms. Parking is more convenient than at the main UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center, with half an hour of free parking and options to pay for additional time, though some find the parking payment process complicated and the signs unclear. The building has helpful staff in the lobby and check-in areas, although their roles are not always labeled, but they are generally friendly and assistive. Patients are encouraged to check in via their phones, which some find challenging and time-consuming. Despite some confusion and the need to navigate the building to find entrances, the facility impresses with its new, modern design and efficient service. Medical staff, including specialists, nurses, and technicians, are highly professional and provide excellent care with minimal wait times. Overall, the pavilion offers a positive healthcare experience with a focus on efficiency, comfort, and accessible outpatient services.
Walking into the building and walking out of the building I was surrounded by such a caring staff who answered all of my questions. The lovely lady helping me check-in, the nurse who took my vitals, the physician who guided me during the procedure, the nurse with aftercare notes and instructions everyone was so kind & patient with me.
Awesome new UCSD Hillcrest Outpatient Pavilion. Parking is SO MUCH easier & closer than for the main UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center. New, clean, modern Medical facility that brings clinics previously only available at UCSD Health's La Jolla venues to Hillcrest for patients, like me, who live in South San Diego County.
UCSD Medical Center is filled with the excellent service whether it be a specialist in any field of a doctor, nurse, medical assistant, and other staff. I've never experienced any waiting time for my appointments all on time. I can't say enough about how great the medical service.
