I went to the emergency room on Pendleton and was instructed to go to medical in the morning for a follow up and to get an SIQ chit since they do not give them out there (which is odd but whatever). I showed up here (keep in mind I’m coughing like crazy and my voice is totally gone) and was told I couldn’t be seen for “sick call” and couldn’t be given an SIQ chit either and “to go back to work or since you had just gone to the ER the day before you would have to just go back to the ER again”. (which I then did) and when I went to the ER at balboa the doctor even told me how ridiculous that sounded and seemed like they were just being lazy and didn’t wanna...read full review

I graduated from high school in 1982 and my drill instructor ordered me to go to sick bay. I did as ordered and I walked in a Marine dental office. A woman asked me how things were going and I said that things are going well.
That was the first time anyone was nice to me.
