Our law firm was sued for the inappropriate actions of a supervisor, which made us liable for their mistakes. The person(s) making the allegations were complicit in the inappropriate behavior which made the case not so clear cut. Unfortunately, we were not strategic in our offer to settle this case. We got sucked into the chaos of litigation, and ultimately both side's attorneys did VERY well.
We are not completely blaming Ward, however, if we had been given more realistic outcomes, costs, and better advice on a settlement offer upfront, this would have made a big difference in our decisions related to the case. It has taken over a year to write this review. We were hoping to hear from Ward on how we might be able to even things out from the hard feelings of just how costly this case was to settle right before trial along with all the fees to get there.
As they say, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". For us, a better settlement offer upfront in the case would have been the prevention and the VERY large amount we paid to later settle,,, on top of the hefty legal fees was the POUND of cure,,, which still leaves us with a sting!

Scam artist! Said we had a case right when he had our money he said the other attorney was a “heavy hitter” and he could do nothing. Kept our money but did absolutely nothing for us. Do not trust this man! Of course I would not use my real name on here you scam artist!!!! Buyer beware he will take all your money and do absolutely nothing to help you after he has it!

Ward is a great Employment Lawyer for any business that's scaling quickly. Being in this situation, it was imperative to have a guide that could advise and navigate all the HR Issues with hiring and firing in California . I've learned that employment law is a slippery slope and having Ward in my corner to advise and help us with this critical part of our business has given us great peace of mind that we are doing everything correctly and legally. A wise man once told me, it is best to seek legal council before you need it and this advice could not have be more useful when navigating this area. California has ways of complicating everything and I sure am glad I had Ward before I had a situation that could have cost considerable time and money, which is typical of employment claims in CA.

Mr. Heinrich might be the most professional, and nicest lawyers working in San Diego. He sent me an email back after my initial email, saying he'd call me back later in the day. During that time, I found another attorney. I responded with that information, yet he still called saying he wanted to reach out. I explained the case to him, and he gave me great advice (even though he knew he wouldn't be representing me in my case). We spent about 15 minutes on the phone, and it made me feel better about my case, and he answered a few of the legal questions I had, in a manner that was easy to understand, without a lot of legal mumbo jumbo that would've went over my head.For someone in the business world to do this, on their own time, is incredible.If I ever need a lawyer in the future (let's hope I don't), he is probably going to be the first person I seek out.
