Canceled my appointment when I called and said we were going to be 10 minutes late due to another appointment being late ..for constantly making you wait in the lobby when you are on time they have a pretty poor grace period

Very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. From the phone to the many doctors there, my dog Teddy was always able to feel cared for and nothing was rushed or forced on us. Dr Rose was our primary doctor and she has been wonderful to work with. My dog doesn't warm up to many people but she has a way of gaining his trust and she takes the time to explain, in detail, what his problems are and how we can fix them. Her follow up is amazing. The best Vet I have ever worked with, hand down!

Last year, I took my senior kitty into see the vet due to her drinking a lot of water. She got her bloodwork done, and they said everything was fine. Some elevated kidney levels but that’s stress, and that she was really healthy and they couldn’t believe she was 16. I felt great!

I moved to Santee, so driving all the way to Kensington was just too far for my senior kitty. I went to a new vet. First thing thing the vet said after they introduced themselves,“I see her last vet visit had she had beginning stages of kidney disease, and high glucose. I’m a little worried that she wasn’t rechecked 90 days after.”

Kensington told me to recheck in a year. That she was healthy! That I didn’t need to worry. Fast forward 11 month later, and my cat is severely diabetic and with full kidney disease.

What’s frustrating is my concern and main reason I brought her into Kensington a year ago was that she was drinking a lot of water. So the signs say kidney issues, and I knew that. So why tell me all is fine? I was lead to feel like I was just being over protective.

If she now suffers at the end I will forever think about how much I dislike this vet.

Please just be transparent about everything. If you aren’t 100% sure if it’s stress or something else, then just say to retest sooner rather than later. If the pet parent doesn’t do that, that’s on them, but give us the choice. My girl was doing the pain shots and was at your office monthly for 6 months. She could have gotten blood work again.

We had a fantastic experience at Kensington! The staff was warm and incredibly helpful and answered all our questions about our newly adopted kittens. Our kittens were calm and at ease while in their appointment and you can tell it’s because of how much care the staff treated them with! We trust them to help us keep our cats happy and healthy the rest of their lives.

I recently switched veterinarians to Kensington Animal Hospital and they are wonderful. The front desk staff and techs are kind and helpful, and go the extra mile. Dr Junco was amazing and really takes his time and listens. I’m so happy to have found them

Dr Hayes and the entire team are excellent here. We are very grateful to have a vet that we trust and that our TimTam likes to come to. The care here is great and their concern for pets is extremely evident. We highly recommend coming here. The pricing is transparent and more than worth it for the level of care.

I took my dog to get carrier for the first time. I was told that I would be called the following morning to have a procedure done. No one ever called I waited and waited. Then finally I called after lunch never heard from anybody until about 3:30 yesterday. This saddens me as they knew that my dog was uncomfortable and it was disgusted this procedure would be done. They clearly do not care about animals and it's very sad. Shame on you for giving me false information and not following up as you should have. I also, left a message for the office manager who has yet to return a call. steer clear from here!!
