Ruined my hair with uneven, choppy short layers all around my head that I did NOT ask for, right before Christmas and my birthday. Had asked for hair thinning and SOME layers in the front. She did not ask me whether it was OK to cut layers all around my head, or how short the layers should be. Regardless the layers are not even, with the leftside being shorter than the rightside. There is just a big chunk of shorter hair on the leftside (so leftside looks worse). There is no consistency in the layers. Did not see how short and uneven the layers were in the backside until I got home.
Update: It still looks terrible a month later. It's going to take like half a year to grow it back to the right length.

Jenny is an awesome hair stylist. My picky teenager loves her cut and styling. Last week, she bleached his hair so nicely and we loved the outcome she made after 2 bleaches. When he wanted it to be more lighter like platinum, she advised him not to do anymore this time to worry about his hair. I can trust her that she would do her best in meeting the style we want but also in a very good quality.

The stylist kept chatting with other staff before and during my haircut, showing little focus on the task. The result? My hair was completely ruined. I only wanted a simple men’s haircut, but here’s what I ended up with:
The right side was supposed to be straight from the ear to the top, but it wasn’t even symmetrical to the left side. She cut off my hair curtain on the right side entirely—and she knew it. To cover up the mistake, she left a much longer section of hair nearby, hoping to disguise the issue. She styled it with wax right afterward, making it seem fine. However, once I got home and washed off the wax, the mess became clear.

The interior of the beauty salon was neat and tidy, and the staff responded kindly to customers. I used an adult haircut and was satisfied. I believe that customer evaluations can vary depending on different aspects. I was a bit disappointed in terms of price.

Absolutely love it! After trying numerous salons, including a $130 Japanese salon in NYC and Korean salons, all unsuccessful. I impulsively visited here because I was driving nearby. I found the perfect hairstylist (forgot your name, sorry). She, the lady hairdresser who has a newlywed son, quickly assessed my hair, head shape, and natural curl, delivering my desired medium-layered haircut in just 15-20 minutes. Exactly what I wanted! Definately will return !!!!!

I'm quite disappointed with my haircut, as a tourist who gonna take many pictures in California and my hairs going to look a little weird entire time. I told them that my hair is very thick and sticks out very easily, but they did not consider my word, and as a result, my hair on top doesn't look naturally connected with my side.Some good things about this salon, the barber was kind and nice. Also, she was fine with cutting my hair like the picture that I provided (she just not considered my word about characteristics of my hair). Haircut is fairly cheap ($35 for men's haircut) compared to other salons in California.So give it a try if you want. I might just be a one unlucky guy at the wrong place at the wrong time, or it might be a barber's skill issue with Asian male hair. Just warning you, let them understand your word before they start.
