Dr. Jewel is knowledgeable and caring. I went in for acupuncture for stiffness and pain in my lower back. After the first session I went from 70% mobility to 80% and after the third session, I was 100% and sitting at my desk for the first time in weeks. Dr. Jewel has a good handle on blending western medicine and real life with traditional and wholistic practices. The space is very zen but not in an off-putting, overly hippie sort of way. It’s a reflection of Dr. Jewel’s healing approach. She is also great at handling insurances and advised me on a few other ailments. Most important, she really wants you to get better, not trying to keep you coming forever.

After my first treatment, I walked out the door with 75% less pain, and had significantly less pain from then until my next appointment. That’s more effective than treatments I’ve spent thousands on.
