I came to Hillcrest seeking acupuncture care, as I haven't found a providers office I can call my own in my home town.
I saw some great reviews of Dr. Oscar, so that's why I picked Hillcrest. Upon walking in, it smelled great, and with the ambience of the room, you couldn't help but to feel relaxed. Oscar took such great care of me. You can tell that he is understanding, empathetic, kind and cares deeply for others. Some spots aren't the most comfortable to needle by nature, and he made me feel so relaxed and comfortable, even in the hands of someone I had never met before. Oscar and his wife Sita own this and they are both excellent Accupuncturist and they also have other Accupuncturist in there and everyone that I've had Work on me is fantastic! I injured my left shoulder a week and a half ago and after three acupuncture treatments, I am pain-free and I can lift my arm over my head now! That is amazing! Acupuncture is truly magic. The ambience here is great and very relaxing... They play beautiful, relaxing music, low lights with air purifiers and essential oils going in the room. It's just a lovely experience! So I've been suffering with back spasms for 6 days. Two trips to nmcsd, a trip to express care and zero relief. Today I was reminded by a friend that I had suggested to HER that she try acupuncture and DUH...made my appointment. Lori treated me (she's lovely) and although I'm a bit tender, I am NOT in spasm at ALL. This is the first time in 6 days that I can actually move without screaming. I have two more appointments in the next few days to make sure that they get this under control but honestly, no pain meds since I was treated. Best day ever.
