I have toured several Memorial Parks cemetaries in San Diego and found Greenwood to be the most beautiful and historical cemetery in the City and County of San Diego. Big thanks to Andre for all his help, tours and history. Andre explained everything so well making it easy to understand. Very beautiful place here and I was able to visit my family members. The unfortunate part which is why I am giving a bad review is the Bible mausoleum. For the past five years or so it has had a funk. Well anyways I went back today and the smell made me gag. You are hit with the smell of embalming fluid and rotting corpses. I feel that this is an easy solution to fix with better ventilation but for now it's terrible. Also I understand that it is hard to maintain the smell of thousands of dead people all in one building but at least have some incense burning or air fresheners. Walking outside to the right of the Bible museum I spotted a panel which has fallen off the wall and exspoing two boxes of ashes. This is unacceptable and I feel horrible for their family which has to come and see this.

Losing someone you love is so hard, so it’s important to work with a great team for the service and burial. We worked with Jesse and he was awesome. Easy to work with and great with communication. There’s a lot to remember so he makes himself available even after your appointment to answer any questions that may come up. We really felt the empathy from everyone we encountered. The make up artists were amazing. My mom looked beautiful!! We had two team members at the service and I wish I would’ve gotten their names as well cause they were great to work with and very helpful. Thank you Greenwood team!!

I would like to give a big shout out to Andre for his outstanding service in getting my parents flower mount set back up. It had been removed in November when my mom was buried on top of my dad. I had called twice to have the issue resolved. It took one call to Andre and he fixed the problem in one day. I called him Friday before Mother’s Day explaining that I had wanted the problem fixed before Mother’s Day. He stated that he would try to put an emergency order update and I could be surprised on Mother’s Day Sunday. I really didn’t think that it was going to happen before Mother’s Day. Lo and behold when me and my family went to the grave site on Sunday we were all shocked but so happy that we could place flowers in a vase. Andre had to go over and beyond to make sure that it happened. I am so greatly ful for Andre support.
