My name is Ida lekaunas I live in Alpine, I called GLADSTONE for an estimate on a Whole House Fan. Mike was at my house within a couple of days. I have lived in my home for 25 years, I asked Mike if he would give me an estimate on A/C. I was impressed with Mike's professionalism, friendly, honest and to the point.Mike gave me a very reasonable estimate for A/C & Whole House Fan. I had so many questions and he answered them all and with a smile on his face. He and his crew where always on time, payed attention to detail. I am so greatfull! I would highly recommend Gladstone....note: after everything was completed, mike sent crew member Marco the next day to do extra sealing, because he saw a rodent trap, that is what I call a great company. I needed to replace a 30 year old gas furnace. I talked to several companies but part of the problem was the reps were salesman and several times told me things that were problematic. One of them recommended a design feature that could have led to carbon monoxide problems. Another recommended a giant fresh air return grill that would have had blank wall space behind it. When Mike came, I knew I was talking to someone who had expert knowledge and I felt confident in his ability to both advise and install.So far the furnace has been running well and several balance and circulation problems are much improved. In retrospect I might have gone with a quieter model/brand, but it works just fine and I would do it again.
Mike is so knowledgeable and kind! I was referred to this company by a friend (who had a bunch of people come out for her issue, and Gladstone was the best by far), and Mike spent 20 minutes on the phone with me discussing my issue EVEN though his company didn't do the type of work I needed. He set me up with a understanding of what may need to be done, and why, then offered to refer me to someone he knows and trusts who does that type of work. I will 100% come to him when it's time to change out my heating and A/C system! Kind, honest people are hard to come by, but Mike and Gladstone are one of the good ones! Also, being a woman, contractors sometimes treat me like an idiot, but I never got that vibe from Mike--not even for a second. So especially if you're a woman who has trouble being treated with respect by other companies, I highly recommend this team.
