The stains on my suit and suit vest didn’t come off at all, but they told me that they couldn’t remove them without damaging the material, so they just left the stains there. I really don’t understand what the point of sending it in for cleaning is

I had such a disappointing experience here. I brought in a brand new suit and a shearling jacket, both expensive and meaningful to me, my mom gave them to me as a gift. I asked them to take extra care.
When I got them back, I was heartbroken. The suit had zebra-like ironing marks that completely ruined the fabric, and the shearling jacket came back with the leather peeling off.
The staff was very kind, which I appreciate, but unfortunately, the quality of the service was devastating. I won’t be coming back.

I’ve been taking my suits and dresses here for a few years now. They are really reliable and get the dry cleaning done fast. They are really friendly and I really like that I can bring my clothes in, and then it’ll be ready the next business day which is really convenient for me. I’ve gone to other cleaners throughout San Diego in the past and I hated that they took a long time to get my clothes ready and the prices were ridiculous. I’m glad I’ve found Excellent Cleaners of Mira Mesa and their prices are great for my wallet and the timeliness is very quick.

I work nearby, and my work actually helped me find this gem of a small family business. I have only been using them for my dry cleaning needs in the last three years, and the service and cleaning are always excellent. They've brought my precious cashmere sweaters and old leather jackets back to life and removed stubborn stains and creases from my clothes (some of which I hold very dear to my heart), and they always amaze me because I know many of them were hard to bring back to original or spotless condition. If they aren't able to remove the stains as requested, they would let me know with a sign on the hanger that says they tried and by bringing it to my attention. I also appreciate so much that they do not put stickers on the clothes to mark them, which some dry cleaners I went to before would do; these guys use paper tags that are easily removable and do not leave sticker residue on your clothes. This is a hardworking and honest family business and one of my favorites in the entire county. Thank you for taking such good care of my clothes!

I have never been more disappointed with a service in my life than I was with Excellent Cleaners of Mira Mesa. I took my favorite coat here twice, hoping for a simple, professional cleaning, and both times, they completely failed to deliver. In fact, I left each time with my coat in the same, if not worse, condition than when I brought it in.
The first time, I picked up my coat and brought it home only to find that it had hair on it still, which, if you just paid for a cleaning service, should not have been there. It was completely unacceptable for a dry cleaner to return my clothes in that condition. However, everyone makes mistakes, so I decided to give them a second chance, thinking maybe it was a fluke.
Unfortunately, that was a huge mistake. When my husband took the coat back for a recleaning, he explicitly pointed out the issue and asked them to make sure it was cleaned properly this time. But when my husband picked it up again, this time checking it at the store, there was still hair on the coat which appeared to be a mix of human hair and lint. It was clear that they either didn't clean it at all of handled it with zero care and attention. I felt like they weren't even trying to meet basic standards of professionalism.
When my husband had to take time out of his day to return to their business several times, giving them a chance to make it right, he was met with an attitude that was dismissive. Instead of apologizing for the poor service and trying to make things right, the staff became defensive and acted like he was the problem. After much back-and-forth, they begrudgingly gave him a partial refund-- but even that felt like pulling teeth. Given the fact that they had failed twice to clean my coat and returned it to me that way, I expected a full refund without question. But they insisted that they "did their job" and wouldn't refund the entire amount. However, if you did your job, the coat would not have been in that condition and if my requests are "too complicated" for you to do, you could've suggested I go elsewhere from the start instead of accepting my payment and doing an inadequate job.
Before he left, there was a "mutual agreement" that we will not be requesting their services ever again, and (whom I assume to be the owner) stated back that they will be blacklisting, or cancelling our account. I've never experienced such poor service, both in terms of the actual dry cleaning and the customer service. Not only did they fail twice to clean my coat properly, but they were also more interested in dismissing my husband's concerns than resolving them. I should note that my husband has much more patience than me and still was not given a proper apology at any point by any of the employees.
If you value your clothes- and your time and money- avoid Excellent Cleaners of Mira Mesa at all costs. I will never return and would advise anyone else to steer clear. There are plenty of other dry cleaners who will not only do their job correctly the first time around, but also treat their customers with the respect they deserve.

Wasn’t satisfied with a cleaning because there was hair on the inside (which wasn’t there when it was first brought in). Brought it back to have it cleaned again (since it was already paid for) and they said they would clean it again. Picked it up a second time and it’s still in the same (dirty) condition. They tell me that there’s nothing they can do and suggested a different dry cleaning place. They refused to provide a full refund and decided to put a note saying they refuse to provide future service. Will no longer be returning to their store. The quality of service and the way they handle customer support is one of the worst. There was never an apology or explanation and they didn’t ever communicate that it would be difficult to clean (would’ve taken it somewhere else). They have the worst attitude and were completely rude and disrespectful. Wouldn’t suggest ever going here unless you want to pay for a service that won’t be served to you and then have them clap back at you because apparently the customer is always wrong. Save your money and get your clothes cleaned anywhere else.

As an In-N-Out Burger employee, keeping my uniform spotless is a must, and Excellent Cleaners has been a game changer for me! My whites come out brighter than ever, and I never have to worry about stains or dullness. The owner is super friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. This business is truly excellent! I have been coming here regularly throughout the years; the price is so reasonable, and items are ready for pick-up usually within a day. The staff are also patient and kind. I've never had an issue with dry cleaning items here

Exceeded expectations. This was my first time ever utilizing a dry cleaning service so I did not know what to expect, but my bedding looks great! My dog really loved to rub up on our quilt and it made it so dirty in one spot. I didn’t think it would come out, but it did!!! I will return!!
