I reached out to Spencer because we're interested in installing a whole house fan to make our 80-year-old bungalow cooler and more efficient during the summer. And somehow no one has ever put insulation in our home since it was built in 1938. I wanted to leave this review for Spencer even though our electrical costs (~$50/mo) are currently too low to take advantage of the full house energy consulting services he offers. I first reached out to Energy Integrity to inquire about a whole house fan. Installation of only a single whole house fan is not Energy Integrity's business model, but even though he wasn't going to make any money from me, Spencer spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with me, educating me on how whole house fans work, what CFM ratings I should be looking for in my house, and even giving me his own opinions (when prompted by me) on some of the other companies we were looking into.... read full review

Ever since moving to San Diego, our house has been stuffy and unevenly heated/cooled. I researched and vetted several HVAC contractors, most of whom suggested a bigger furnace and air conditioning condenser ($$$). I came across Energy Integrity while researching Energy Upgrade California and the PACE program. Spencer came to the house and spent a generous amount of time asking questions and physically walking through every room.
