Dr. Macy Basterrechea is excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable not only of the body work aspect but on the interrelated aspects impacting pelvic floor health. She is warm in her demeanor, putting me at ease at the very first visit. She is encouraging, with the right blend of patience and persistence to propel my healing. I feel extremely fortunate to have found her and have hope that the work we are doing will improve many aspects of my life. It already has!
I truly can not recommend Empower enough! As a birth doula, I acknowledge how vital it is to strengthen, understand, and connect with your pelvic floor and that it takes a truly dedicated and caring team to move through this work with. Macy has been such a game changer in my experience and I learn so much every single visit both about the female body as well and connection with my own. Deeply grateful for her care and craft.
I went to Empower Physical Therapy for pelvic training in prep for my first birth. Macy and Marisa were both present on arrival and made me feel so welcomed. The clinic was tastefully decorated and emaculately clean. Dr. Macy worked directly with me and identified target issues to work on and provided a personalized plan of care. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt seen and heard as a person. I look forward to continuing ongoing sessions!
