First of all, I had retained an attorney that my mom used for an accident a few years ago. (My accident was almost 2 years ago) after 4-6 months of having that attorney, mind you I got hit by a drunk driver with a newborn in my car, the attorney that I had “suddenly had a family emergency and was no longer able to represent me” and handed me off to Arthur D’egidio. I was a little apprehensive at first because I had sooooo much anxiety from postpartum and from the accident itself.
At some point, I knew my new lawyer was working on the case but I hadn’t heard of any news so I just decided to be grateful that my son wasn’t hurt and to just keep it moving right along. Then out of no where I get a call from the firm that they won me a bunch of money. What!!! I thought that ship had sailed but what a blessing. I honestly didn’t think they could do much because the drunk driver that hit us didn’t have insurance and my insurance company already paid my car and medical bills so idk. I feel like Mr . D’ Egidio fought tooth and nail to win and I’m so grateful for it.
No one likes to get in accidents, especially with their kids in the car but if it’s happens because yes it’s life, get an attorney that will not take no for an answer.
