We LOVE dog days. My two 8 year old labs have been going to Dog Days since they were about 2 years old. We started using them as a way to get out all that puppy energy and we have stuck around because of the amazing care they provide. Dog Days is always a safe reliable place for my dogs to spend their time when I am going to be out of town or out of the house for the whole day. The staff there truly love dogs and do such a great job making sure that all the pups are well loved, exercised, and monitored for the entire day. Their staff are also just such incredible resources for all dog related questions. We have gotten some amazing advice and recommendations for everything from training, to food, to vet services, to behavioral issues.

Our dogs absolutely love Dog Days. They have learned social skills, enjoyed sleep overs, dog training lessons and just good ol’ fun. Consistently wonderful staff is so rare. We never worry at all when our “boys” are there. Highly recommend.

So this place is a godsend. We rescued a 6 month old puppy and started her here for needed reprieves. Much like everyone else has said Dog Days does it really well on all accounts. The staff is always amazing. Super service oriented, personable, knowledgeable and kind. The cost for half days and full days is so reasonable. They are so consistent and our dog Zen just loves going here. She never looks back when I take her. Many of the folks that go to the nearby dog park take their dogs here. Their first time intake process is thoughtful and caring to ensure good and safe experiences for all that use their service. Would not hesitate to send your puppy here. I love Dog Days! And more importantly, my dogs (Chewbacca and Rocky Rafiki) do too!! The staff here clearly care about dogs and their humans. They are kind, compassionate, patient, and seem to know all of the dogs by name. One of my pups is a little shy and anxious and they took the time to make sure he was comfortable. They go into daycare confidently and leave tired and happy.
We’ve also used the pickup and dropoff process and it was seamless.
They have great add-ons and grooming services. We’ve done it all. And I love that the owner isn’t afraid to take a stand for what she believes in! 5 stars for Dog Days!

We tried a new dog daycare today and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Bruno had his trial day and it went so well. From the moment we arrived, he seemed comfortable and at ease, which says a lot because he can sometimes be a little hesitant in new environments. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the notes they shared with me at the end of the day were so thoughtful and detailed, it really gave me confidence that they were paying close attention to him throughout the day. It’s such a relief to know he’s in a place where he feels safe, cared for, and happy. I’m really excited for him to go back!

I wrote some time ago that Dog Days “Best staff ever. Each and every one treats our pup Rowan and all of his people like family!” Rowan is no longer a puppy but he still thinks (and we agree) that his Dog Days family are the smartest, friendliest, and all around best he ask for🦮

Dog Days is wonderful for our pup Ruby - we use them mostly for overnight boarding. The staff there has been nothing but attentive and kind, and Ruby gets SO EXCITED when we pull into the parking lot. They also do a wonderful job with her baths/grooming at the end of her stays. Very grateful to have found them!

This is hands down the best doggy day care and overnight boarding in San Diego. Our 2 rescue pups have come here several times over the last few years, for as long as 6 nights, and every time I’m blown away by the level of care provided.
One of our dogs is super friendly, while the other is much more shy and still getting used to strangers and other dogs. Our shy dog needs to be with her sister at all times, and isn’t always the best at communicating her feelings - and Dog Days always provides us with thorough updates on how she’s doing and accommodates her little quirks (like needing to be in the small dog area despite being 50 pounds, ha) to make sure she’s doing well & that all the other dogs are comfortable too.
We’ve also used their transportation drop off service, and there was a hiccup once where our shy dog was having some barrier aggression when getting into the van. Rather than throwing their hands up and asking us to come get her, DD gave her and her sister a PRIVATE ride home - we were obviously a bit mortified but so relieved that DD handled the situation so well for all dogs involved. They gave us a robust rundown of the situation and recommendations for how to handle similar issues in the future.
And whenever we call to check in as anxious dog parents, they always give us detailed notes on their behavior and health as well. We also love that they have extracurriculars for the dogs, like hiking outings, too!
Dog Days is truly the most professional level of dog care you can get in San Diego - and while the rates do reflect that, it’s absolutely worth the peace of mind. Ziggy and Nova say thank you!!
