I had two large metal cabinets I got for a steal at a second hand store, but as one might expect, they came lacking keys for their locking L-handles. After calling around and actually receiving a quote from one highly rated mobile locksmith for - get this - anywhere from $200 to $250, and another locksmith who brushed me off telling me they were too busy for such a job and recommended another shop, I decided to follow my original instincts and actually visit a locksmith shop so they could actually see the lock in question. I found Convoy Street Locksmith eight miles away. I brought my two keyed L-handles and he offered to key them. He took them to his bench, which was out of my view, and after a few seconds, I timidly asked if he was going to tackle them then, and to my surprise he said "Yes". I wasn't expecting immediate same day service, so I asked the locksmith for a place nearby where I could buy ice tea to kill the wait, and by the time I returned (12 minutes maybe) he had keyed both handles, and nowhere near the obscene amount I was quoted earlier. I was charged about 15% of the lowest quote the first guy I mentioned provided, and that was for both handles with two keys for each lock. My recommendation is persevere and don't fall for the first quote. Look around. I'm glad I did. He also saved me a 16 mile round trip by doing it then and not having me come back another day. Totally pleased with their service.

Went to his shop after going to other big spots I thought would be able to help me get a copy of my key. Ace Hardware weren't able to make a copy of the set of motorcycle keys that I needed and was referred to this spot. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The service was great and quick and the owner of the shop was kind. I definitely recommend this locksmith to anyone.

Okay so a couple of good things and whatnot. First off the guy is super nice. His keys have been the most accurate of anywhere else and if you need your car keys replaced I would recommend coming here 1,000%, that being said..The other day I went in for keys he had to recut them a little bit because they weren't working so great initially and they wouldn't open the door or turn on the engine. I do not have chip keys I just have the regular turn key.Then he comes out and test the key but really roughly on my front door which was already unlocked.
