They keep clients updated throughout the process and deliver high-quality results that exceed expectations. Their team, including the project manager and designers, are a pleasure to work with, responsive to questions, and dedicated to producing beautiful and functional spaces.
ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS!!!Stay away from these guys.They take your money and instead of keeping money in trust fund account, the use it for their business working capital, and pay subcontractors working on other jobs.IT IS ILLEGAL AND VIOLATES CONTRACTORS LAW!!!When time comes to pay subs, they don't have money, say stories that the ownersof project don't pay them, that's why delay payments to subcontractors.I did large job in La Jolla, and had to wit a numerous times for payments for a few months, and finally i cancelled the contract.There were four incopetent supervisors managing the job, and they ven id'nt know what 2D and 3D layouts were. Read this!!!! Beware of him!! Armando is an expert at deceiving people. Before hiring, look him up on the California State Licensing board (CSLB), his license is still active but has a questionable mark. I complained to the CSLB, I had an investigator assigned to my case and this investigator shared that they had other 6 cases open against Charco claiming things very similar to mine and that his case was going to go to the Attorney General. Additionally, he also has multiple lawsuits from clients, LOOK HIM UP, THIS IS PUBLIC INFORMATION! Even his credit card (American Express) is suing him. One of his past employees contacted me because he/she couldn't claim worker's comp because Armando wasn't paying his taxes. Unbelievable that this person is still around ripping off people! It appears he doesn't own any assets to back him up. A complete scam and fraud! Be careful if this person and his BS, do not trust your project and money to him or else you will end up like me and many other people, minus hundreds of thousand of dollars less (yes, not exaggerating) and trying to figure out if you put a law suit agains him/Charco or give up and lose the battle before fighting it.
Beware! Stay Far, Far Away!I can't emphasize enough how terrible my experience was with Charco Design and Build.Not only did they fail to complete the project on time, but they also neglected to pay the vendors, causing endless headaches and legal issues. Their lack of professionalism and accountability is appalling. Armando is a master of deceit, with no integrity or conscience. Save yourself the stress and avoid this contractor at all costs. Trustworthy and reliable professionals are out there - this one isn't it.Services: Project management
