Review of AEFECT

I truly wanted this to work.

In the beginning, AEFECT seemed like a good fit for our family. However, over time serious concerns arose regarding one of the therapists assigned to my son, Olivia. Her approach was very strict and physically hands-on in a way that consistently left my child overwhelmed and dysregulated. Multiple sessions ended in self-harming behaviors that we do not see with other therapists.

For clarity: the only therapists we had positive experiences with were Julia and Ciel. They were patient, gentle, and allowed my son the time he needed to process. He never experienced the same level of distress during sessions...read full review

Terrible company. Small company with few people trying to manage lots cases. The staff is not well trained. Therapists don´t have any experience working with children. Lots of ancellations. Terrible management they want you to stick with the therapist they assigned even if they are causing more maladaptive behaviors. Will not recomend this company.

If i could give zero stars i would. This company has no well trained staff. It only has two people trying to cover many clients. Too many last minute cancelations. Therapist have no experience working with toddlers. Wanted to reschedule all the time. I would not recomend this company for special needs children. I had more issues with theraphy than with out theraphy. If you see this company run away as fast as you can.
