While vacationing in Ocean Beach we came across Chris at Ace Tattoo and we are so glad we did. My wife decided to get a shoulder piece and Chris absolutely nailed it. He freehanded the design and it came out fantastic—clean lines, beautiful shading, and a style that really fit her. She walked out loving it, and I was so impressed that I booked an appointment for myself.
For my piece, I brought him a concept and he transformed it into something even better than I imagined. What I got was a true piece of art, not just a tattoo. It feels unique, creative, and completely one of a kind.

Traveled all the way from Massachusetts to celebrate my wife and I’s 9-year anniversary, and on a last-minute whim decided to get tattoos. So glad we stopped by this shop! The vibe was absolutely fire! Chris and Buddy made the whole experience feel fun, welcoming, and unforgettable. Loved every second of it and couldn’t have asked for a better way to mark the occasion. Highly recommend!
I had this design idea and went to the shop with it. Nico took it and made a great design that perfectly captured my vision of the design. Everyone in the shop was professional and made my first tattoo experience wonderful and I will be going back there for more.
