Griffin has amazing Optometrists, plus I can't say enough about Jimmy and what a kind man he is. But that is where I have to stop complimenting this office. To get to these wonderful people you have to deal with the incompetent front office. My wife was given voicemail reminder of her appt @ 10:30 she arrived in the parking lot at 10:15 and received a call from Jessica stating that her appointment was canceled due to her being late. We live in Oceanside and drive 30 miles to this office. The fact that she was cancelled 15 minutes before her appointment has cost Griffin 3 patients, my wife, my daughter, and myself just for being inconsiderate. I have been a patient nearly 30 years and I was not told prior to my exam that VSP was no longer accepted and that Total Vision was dropped by VSP. The problem here is Total Vision is garbage and this practice was way better when it was not with TV. I love Dr Patrick and am sad I won’t still have him as my Dr but I will not return to a company that doesn’t value its patients. Had I been told ahead of time I would have saved myself a 2 hour drive and a lot of anger. It’s is shady to not tell a patient at the time of making their appointment. This was a money grab pure and simple and it makes sense why VSP dropped TV and now I have too.
Dr. Collier and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I had a senior eye exsm.Equipment is modern and state of the art. They take the time to explain everything in your exam.
