“After having started out home renovation, we set out to look for a landscape architect that could design on challenging terrain that needed engineering. We wanted a design and build firm that would take responsibility for the entire project; we also knew it would be no small feat to find someone that met our need for excellent design and the ability to actually build what was designed on our land. My husband and I were immediately impressed with Angelica's (the owner’s) understanding of our land and enthusiasm towards her work. Angelica is an artist! “We worked with Machtinger Landscaping on our front yard installation. We are incredibly happy with the product and experience. Noah (the owner) is easy to work with, knowledgeable, super professional and responsive. Ernesto, our foreman, was wonderful to work with.

Our project was large in scope and included a complex drainage system required by the city. Noah and his crew were amazing - not only did they implement the system expertly, they also managed city inspections. As the project progressed, they were able to resolve unexpected issues on site and also made useful suggestions to improve on the original design.

For the landscaping, Machtinger installed paver paths, new irrigation system, new lighting, and sourced and installed plant material (including trees and large shrubs). Everything was installed with precision and care. The result is beautiful and we are getting compliments from neighbors non-stop.
