What a sweet, lovely studio in San Anselmo - great location/upstairs - peaceful, quiet and calming. Offers a diverse array of movement and yoga classes. Friendly staff and wonderful energy. Great community-serving center, really enjoyed our visit and class!

I love this yoga studio and Winky the owner. It's the real thing. A studio dedicated to the full practice of yoga, not a gym substitute with a splash of Sanskrit. The space is serene and beautiful, reminiscent of how yoga was when I started practicing over 25 years ago. The studio is bright, airy, clean, with a full array of well-kept props-wall ropes, straps, balls, blankets, blocks, bolsters, and more... It holds a dozen or a few more students, which means that everyone can see the instructor and the instructor can see all of the students.

Love, love, love this place. It's how I remember yoga classes were 20 years ago, before commercialism took over: welcoming, calm, reverent, and peaceful, without pretense. I'm glad yoga has reached so many folks but what I hear from my non-yoga friends is their hesitation about trying a class because they fear being too fat or too inflexible or not "yogic" enough and they're afraid they will look funny or fall over, or whatever. There's none of that to fear here. The instructors are accepting and knowledgeable and classes are filled with normal, regular people who wear plain old t-shirts and shorts.
