“Image Flow in San Anselmo is located just beneath the old movie theater at the hub. I had a wonderful experience with them. My boss had an old bubbled photo he wanted to donate to the Air Force Academy. Image Flow created a digital photo that included some detail restoration. Then this was emailed to me. Making a print of this 18"X 22" photo was an additional cost. Just the digital image photo itself was $60. The new print with the photo was $190. My boss is thrilled with the results and the photo will be shared for years to come.“

“If you're in need of a proposal photographer, look no further! Steven did an amazing job in helping me prepare for the big moment, the photography session was really fun, and we loved the photographs.After talking to Steven on the phone, I knew right away that he was the photographer I wanted to go with - I was rather stressed about planning everything but he put my fears to ease, was very easy to talk to, and struck a perfect balance of figuring out exactly what I wanted while at the same time offering his great wisdom and advice to steer me in the right direction on key details. Over several phone calls and emails exchanged, he helped me weigh different options (e.g. is golden hour really important? should he secretly photograph the big moment or "bump into each other" ahead of time), plan the little details (e.g. the exact location where it should happen, how the shot should be framed, etc), and come up with contingency plans (e.g. what if it rains? what if the area is too crowded?).The results speak for themselves - the proposal went great (she was totally surprised) and he captured the moment beautifully. Afterwards we spent additional time doing more posed "engagement" shots, which Steven expertly guided us through, and the resulting photographs looked natural, the framing and lighting were beautiful, and we couldn't wait to share them with our friends and family.“

“Family includes dogs and getting their portraits takes work. When those moments are captured--the portraits turn to art that sparks joy and commands attention. What a stellar show +'s: + Dogs love her. Talented photographers tease something out of their subjects to capture on film. Ellen did just that and wow! My senior dog (10 yrs) and teen dog (2 yrs) had different personalities. Both responded to Ellen. My dogs looked into the camera and forgot all about Mom. It was all about Ellen and her camera! + Mindful. My senior dog had eye issues and Ellen was mindful of the flash. Thankfully we had no issues but I am glad she had remembered. + Professional and clear process. We had a consult before the studio session. During the session she let the dogs run around on set before settling down for the actual shoot. After the shoot we took a break and got to see the proofs. + Patient. Ellen allowed me to ponder on my proofs. The task was challenging since I was on a budget but didn't want to lose special moments. She helped me navigate through all the proofs to find the ones I wanted. We followed up with a zoom call to finalize layouts and choices. + Instinctive. We tried posing with my girls on a sofa. The girls were not comfortable and I perhaps looked stiff. Ellen picked up on it and said let's move on. + Natural artistic vision. I had selected many for print but Ellen helped me select the right sizing and layout for my walls. Also what is key is finding the right photos for the layout. Her art studies came into play and this proved key. + Flexible and a listener. If I had concerns, Ellen heard me out whether through email, text, or phone. She actively resolved anything. Overall I am beyond pleased with the photos for my girls! I am completely thrilled with the final product. The richness of the prints and the quality of the work are worth the memories I now have on my walls. What a pleasure it is to have the work generate warm happy thoughts when either guests or I see them! I learned a lot about the arts of what to look for in a professional photo and how to create different impressions with minor changes in posture, body position and shot angle. We contracted with Desire to Inspire Studios to develop a short (3-minute) promotional video for our fundraising, volunteer recruitment, media relations, and general support requirements. The DTIS team came to our large facility in Terra Linda, interviewed our program's co-coordinators, captured the wonderful interaction between the students and our volunteers, and the intense excitement of a school of third-grade students filling their book bags with ten free books to take home.
