The front desk is a nightmare at the Midtown clinic suite 2500. The front desk can never ever get appointments correctly. And then you go there and all of a sudden, you have no appointment. You just spent an hour waiting when you ask them what's wrong, they say you're racist or you're rude or you're obnoxious. So basically, nobody takes responsibility for how the practice is run. And then when you ask, " Why didn't you call me to tell me my appointment was canceled or that, or they booked the appointment for the wrong day and they say you are rude. I'm so frustrated, nobody takes responsibility. I'm so frustrated about how much they charge. For how late these doctors are, like hours late. I think the whole the whole system needs to be revamped, but it never will be because California will never take responsibility for their actions. And that's why people are leaving the state. And it's exactly like what's happening at UC Davis. Nobody can get appointments on time. The care is bad. It's incredibly overcharged. And when you try to get someone to take responsibility for what's happening? They just pawn it off and attack you. I'm so done with it

Great staff of Doctors and nurses, I cannot thank them enough for taking care of my mother. I believe I had one negative experience with a nurse who refused to call me back for a follow on my mom's life saving surgery. Other than that everyone else at this facility was awesome. I hope the nurse who was rude by not calling next of kin gets the training she needs. After waiting ten hours for her call me back, I decided to call her again, and she decided to my call, so I asked if my mom was fine. She laughed, and said she's fine. I said to her it only took five seconds for you to tell me that my mom is fine, yet I had to call for you three times in ten hours, and I'm three hours away. I told her that was not funny, and asked for her supervisor, she transferred me to a male charge nurse, who echoed her words by saying it's been that kind of day. I was left speechless and wondering why were these people working in healthcare. Thank goodness the good outweighed the bad.

The best Midtown clinic available. This is part of the UC Davis system, so, as a patient, you have access to everything they have to offer - the hospital, specialists, services, special programs, and the great support staff. It took a while to get in but once you're accepted, you're on your way to better health. I've been with them for five years now and I've noticed a big difference in the quality of my life. They have bike racks right by the elevators, so it's an easy in-and-out for MD appointments, lab work and x-rays.

I have been here with a problem of not eating. They look after me well here. Also need Radiation for Cancer and it seemed like the best idea to stay put in UCDavis Hospital All care is top notch. Food not great for me. Beautiful view from room of Sacramento stretching out below. I will have to go to yet another nursing home. Keep making me more sick. Nursing homes are not at all helpful Bad. I retired from the VA Medical Center, San Francisco after 25 years. I know what a professional hospital looks like. You know you have a building full of angels. Be proud of that.

This is listed as the "Internal Medicine" building, but the Folsom building encompasses a number of different offices that I or a family member have visited at one point or another, from Internal Medicine to the lab to our son's doctor. There is not perfect health care experience (and trust me I would know), but you can get the best quality health care at UC Davis and that is why I have always been loyal to this hospital. The Folsom building is particularly nice because you don't have to compete with the heavy foot traffic or navigate the labyrinthine corridors of the main hospital to get to where you need to be. Overall, it's smaller and more accessible which seems to help in the quality of care as well. Each doctor or nurse practitioner we have worked with here has been incredible and has followed up as they say they would. The only exception has been some occasionally grumpy front desk staff, but since they aren't the ones making the important decisions about our health it's a minor thing to overlook. Pro tip: Parking is limited to the downstairs garage here and then you have to keep track of your ticket so they can validate it. I usually park nearby and then walk in and avoid the hassle of the garage.

If you have female parts, I highly recommend looking for another medical group. Want to see an ObGyn? Not pregnant? That'll be three to four months, no matter how much pain or discomfort you are in. Then, when you do finally see somebody, they will be a resident who may or may not know what they're doing. After the resident part of the appointment, you'll get to wait around for another half an hour or more to see their resident advisor who will probably be a better doctor but who you will never actually be able to schedule with because they are not taking new patients. I switched to Kaiser at the beginning of the year, emailed the ObGyn I selected, and she proactively scheduled an appointment for two days later. If I don't like here, there are others I can choose from. That's how it should be!
