Dennis knows what he's talking about, has been in the business a long time and isn't pressured to 'sell' you products. He's got some really unique styles in his shop that's nestled off 33rd street in Oak Park. He can find you what you're looking for if it isn't on his shelf that day and he's also one of the only people that I've found who can put glass instead of plastic lenses.

I had heard about That Guy Eyewear, since I'd been putting their ads together for The Sacramento News & Review, until we had to shut down print operations due to the 'rona (RIP Alt Weeklies).*That Guy was part of a let's try this again, hopeful revitalization of our beloved yet neglected corner of the city on Del Paso Blvd. Sometimes shit happens and we can't do anything but move on. And so we do.Much to my surprise and delight, That Guy has found a new home in the OP. Just in time to replace my 6 y/o glasses! 2 pair--computer and distance. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. Great selection of glasses. Way better alternative to your typical big box stores. Dennis, Jackie and Dr Ulseth were all very welcoming. Thank you all for your kindness, you have a customer for life. I'd definitely recommend supporting this local business!
