Instruction is thorough, with Justin delivering clear and encouraging guidance, supported by helpful posters that detail various techniques. This approach allows students, regardless of their prior experience, to learn new skills and tips while enjoying their time in the studio. The spacious warehouse setting features a shop at the front selling finished ceramic and wood pieces, as well as glazes. While the studio can become warm or cool depending on the weather, a large fan is available for comfort. Classes fill up quickly, so it is advisable to book early, and students are encouraged to schedule sessions a few weeks apart to accommodate drying and firing times. Overall, Sincere Ceramics is highly recommended for those interested in exploring the art of pottery in a friendly and supportive environment.

Justin and Mackenzie are awesome!! Their ceramics classes are informative, relaxed, and affordable! Justin is a master ceramicist and is very patient with new students. He makes it look so easy, but can give you good advice about throwing, hand building, and all the rest. Bring a rag towel to dry your hands! Aprons are provided.
I think overall this is a great place to go and make some amazing pieces if you have a basic understanding. If you are a beginner and don't know anything about ceramics it might be difficult.
One thing to note is that to complete a piece it will take 2/3 classes and while you're there they encourage you to make more pieces thus, enrolling in more classes.
The place is small but has a lot of space and supplies for the amount of people they enrolls. They do a good job of filling just the right amount of space.
The hard part for me was the instructions are all given at once at the beginning and then you are off on your own to create your pieces. I am...read full review
