I decided to go with Ray's, a small company rather than a large popular installer. I did this for two reasons: The first was cost. I ended up getting 3 estimates, and 2 were just much, much higher. The second was that after meeting Ray, I knew that he was very willing to go the extra mile to get the job and to get the job done. He had a crew of 3 for the install, and they were on time (7am) everyday and worked thru the day, and into the late afternoons brutal heat in my attic. I know hard work when I see it, and it was that. I felt fortunate to get an full HVAC with all the cut ins at the quote he honored. Now that the project is done, it passed the HERS with flying colors, and passed final immediately after. My house is cool, which really eased my claustrophobic feeling with all the noisy fans I had going, and with the inescapable heat. I'm thankful there are still honest, hard working people out here, and Ray is one of them.
