“Drove almost 2 hours but was super worth it. Cody did an AMAZING job I can’t stop staring at my arm. I gave him 0 direction besides canine adjacent and I like some of these animes and he whipped up a gorgeous piece that compliments my other work. The shop energy was so fun we had great conversation with the other artist and person being worked on and the music was peak emo nostalgia.
Cody should charge more for his work… his prices are insanely affordable for his talent and he was such a cool down to earth guy. He is extremely light handed and while my pain tolerance is high this tattoo was hardly noticeable (and felt good but we don’t need to unpack all of that). If you’re worried about pain and that’s stopping you from getting a tattoo you should check Cody out.
Definitely going back to get the other arm done by him. As a visibly queer man I’m always nervous walking into new tattoo shops because they often feel suffocatingly toxic masculinity vibes but they were super open and friendly at kinetic ink. Don’t have enough kind things to say about them.”
