“YALL when I tell you to just book with lei, just do it. I'm writing this review after my touchup session and initial session. The first session was great, Lei is just a lovely person, warm and inviting, very professional, and made me feel comfortable. Also her studio is so relaxing I fell asleep both times (while getting a razor to my face, you know that means she knows what she is doing.) If you're worried whether or not you will like how it looks don't stress because first she'll map it out on your face and you'll look at it and let her know if there's anything you wanna change. In my initial appointment, I wanted just a slightly less arched brow than what she had originally mapped out, and she was happy to adjust to make sure I was happy, and it also matched with my face. The healing process takes a couple weeks, so don't set yourself up or instant results because your brows will go through a few stages before they eventually look how they're meant to. I waited about two months until my touchup session because I was so busy, and that only took about an hour, and I was already happy with how they looked before the touchup, but now that she's gone through and filled in what was a little patchy from the first healing process they are better than I could've hoped for. “I got married in New York City this past May and my wedding party and I loved, loved, loved the wonderful person who did our hair and makeup that day. We loved her so much, my matron of honor considered flying her out to do our hair and makeup for the reception we were having in California later that year. (Then the reality of the cost set in.) Luckily, I found MM Beauty! After reading some reviews, I submitted an inquiry and had a consult with the owner the following week. I booked them on the spot and it was seamless from that moment forward. MM Beauty provided an online portal where I could view correspondence and payment information. They provided tip sheets and reminders. And they asked for input on what we wanted as far as hair and makeup looks. There was constant communication. Our artists, Vanessa and Nami, came to my house with everything ready to go, and both ladies were professional perfectionists, ensuring me and my gals looked and felt our very best. We are a bunch of middle-aged women; youth was not on our side, but these pros did wonders for us! I'll admit, I was a little nervous wondering if anyone was going to be able to live up to the wonderful artist who did our hair and makeup back in May, but my fear was for not. Vanessa and Nami were wonderful! True artists!“

“Mylene did absolutely beautiful job on my lips. Mylene took the time to work with me to find exactly what I wanted, and for creating the color i love using my favorite lipstick color.. I absolutely love it and all my colleagues kept asking me why my lipstick doesn't come off after eating lunch. I work 12 hours shift in hospital and i do not have to touch up my lip color anymore. Pain level 4/10 during lip blush, very tolerable. I gave her contact to a few of my coworkers in the hospital too!“

“Chardonnay deserves all of the flowers coming her way because she is the epitome of hard work, success, and determination. Her work is flawless. And I mean FLAW-LESS. You can tell she really studies her techniques, and she comes up with new additions to her services. She stays educated and educates others too with her classes.

She does lashes, eyebrow microshading, waxing everywhere (because others don’t), and please correct me if I’m wrong but skin lightening too. She was my first pubic waxing experience. I was mortified before coming, but I easily relaxed when I met her. She has this sense of peace about her and it jumps on you. She’s confident and can walk the walk with her talk.

I’ve been waxed by others before for my eyebrows, but they take too much off that makes me not recognize myself, and my face is really itchy afterwards. After an appointment with her, I was so smooth down there. When I tell you I was itch and bump-free! I was so happy! I miss her. I need to come back. I was broke as a joke for a second, but I’m back on my feet again. I need my lashes and allathat done. Nothing but good vibes. ?✅“

The other artists that have joined the shop share Melissa's views on equality and kindness, and no matter who is present you never feel out of place.
