Frankly this place does more than just tailoring -- they do full-on holistic analysis of your clothing and execute absolutely artful techniques to make your store-bought clothes fit like they were custom-designed for your body.

I'd had success there with having waistbands taken in & pants hemmed, so I took in a multi-layered black tie dress for basic altering and Vera pointed out that there was some gapping between the straps and my back -- tbh that's the kind of thing I've just grown accustomed to with the quality of clothing today, and I didn't want to pay a ton extra for something that I'd convinced myself only I would... read full review

Took a bridal mini dress in to have the straps shortened by 1/4 inch. The dress has very minimal beading, but some (Watters Obsessed Dress for anyone who cares). Quoted $60 and paid $50 upfront, 2 week turn around. I arrived and noted the quality of the alterations looks solid but I was told I owe $30 additional because “it took more time than expected.” I asked for specifics and the owners response was rather defensive. This place could really benefit from more pricing transparency. A 30% surprise up-charge on a small alteration left a bad taste.

Tldr: the work is good, but expect to pay more than what they quote you.

They do good work but it's very expensive. I like Araceli's better. It's a tiny mom and pop shop in a crappy neighborhood but they appreciate the business and do good work and are a third of the price.
