I had the most amazing massage from Pebbles last night. So many knots were released and I don’t feel beat up today! The students have all been professional and courteous. I will be back!

This school convinced me not to take their advanced program just by how much they advertise it during the core program! Honestly feels disrespectful and a waste of our time.

General thoughts:
- very kind and caring staff (though often seem stretched thin)
- slow paced/outdated curriculum (the amount of repetition for basic concepts is comical)
- not super clean facilities/horrible fluorescent lighting
- lots of body work time (probably best part of program)
- not rigorous (seems like they'll pass anyone regardless of actually understanding/skill)
- comprehensive but not holistic (will vaguely cover many areas relevant to massage and health but little emphasis on the interconnectivity of the material)
- expensive but lots of financial aid options

Overall, the school and NHI culture were not my cup of tea. Still, I am grateful to have learned the basics of anatomy/physiology/bodywork/ethics at NHI. Also, 8 months is way too long for the amount of material covered, could be 4-5 months with a better organized curriculum.

I cannot tell you how bad my experience was here. And I didn’t even get a massage. I booked an appointment for my boyfriend’s birthday and received the email confirmation. I spent a WEEK calling them to further confirm and never got through. I was sent to voicemail ever. Single. Time.

So I showed up anyway because I had the email confirmation. We arrive, ON TIME, and every single door is locked. We can’t even get inside the building. So I call them yet again, and get sent to voicemail, yet again. After trying to get in for a good 10 min we gave up. Then they call me not a minute after we pull out of the parking lot, asking if we are planning on showing up. I explain what happened and the girl on the phone was incredibly disrespectful. She got attitude like this was somehow my fault, and hung up before letting me respond.

We finally get in thinking the hard part is over. When they have the nerve to say “there’s only 30 min left of the service if that’s ok with you.”

Are you kidding me? You have the nerve to ask me to pay full price for half the service after we couldn’t get in contact with you and YOU made us miss the appointment. How unprofessional are you?

For that kind of mistake, you should be offering a discount at the least. Because I literally had no way to get in contact with them. None. And they act like that’s my fault they are ignoring the phone when it rings.

This was supposed to be a surprise for my boyfriend and a time for him to finally relax. Instead I dealt with the more disrespect and unprofessionalism I have ever experienced from service providers.

Yo, gotta shout out Michael from NHI, Group 78. Straight up, I just walked out feeling like I got a brand new leg.
This ankle sprain has been buggin' me for years, low-key, but the last few months it's been straight stressing me and my whole routine. Michael handled biz, gave me that work, and now the mobility is fire.
Real talk, if you're dealing with old injuries that keep creepin' back, he's the one to go see. He turned a years-long problem into an instant win. Much respect!

Everyone was very friendly and polite, I felt really welcome

Everyone was wonderful and accommodating. Any questions I had were addressed and answered. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
