Martel Eye Medical Group is a great clinic with a welcoming environment and amazing service. The doctors are fabulous, thorough, very kind, patient, and great. The staff is exceptional, super friendly, and attends to patients quickly. The waiting time is not long and is faster now, with appointments available promptly. Examinations go well, with the doctors listening to questions and explanations. The clinic has shown big improvement over the years and comes highly recommended.
Terrible experience. Our appointment was at 11:20 AM, but we weren’t seen until 1:40 PM—over two hours of waiting. Sitting that long with little kids was frustrating enough, but it was even worse seeing people who arrived after us get called in first. No explanation, no communication, and no respect for our time. Would not recommend at all.
This is an in-depth review of this office. Starting with the scheduling process, the call took a reasonable wait time expected of typical medical services.
On the day of my appointment I was quickly signed in and after turning in my paperwork, the rest of the process including the wait, eye exam, and results took 18 minutes. That was just my experience.
The doctor who attended me was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. However, there is one thing that led me to remove a star and that was that this office uses positive cylinder values for prescriptions, which is the opposite of most optometrists. Just awful. The staff is very unprofessional and impolite. The prescription made wrong, for me and my wife as well, in inappropriate way, so we can’t wear our glasses. This place just abuses the medical. We filed this information to our insurance provider as well
