This review is looooong overdue. My son trained at Kovar's Natomas location managed by Ilya for 6 years earning his Black Belt in Kenpo. Ilya's team of instructors were a major help to us by instilling great character and discipline in our son during many of his formative years. He has just graduated with his Master's of Science this year. He has never had to use his martial arts skills to defend himself but he uses them every day to succeed in life! Thank you Ilya and all of your colleagues over the years.

Our daughter has been attending Kovar’s Martial Arts in Sacramento for the past two years, and the growth we’ve seen in her has been incredible—especially in her focus and self-discipline. From the very beginning, she felt welcomed by both her classmates and the instructors, which made all the difference.
