I have been going to Kara for all of my hair needs for the last two years. I have such high praises for her and her talents with hair. She has me looking fabulous after each visit. Her haircuts grow out so well, that it doesn't even look like I need a cut! She's kind, full of good information and a great listener to what you need/want from her. Highly recommend Kara. She's terrific!

Hi, welcome to Poppy! My name is Kara Dryer (she/her). I have been a hairstylist for over 20 years. After moving to Sacramento, I had the opportunity to work at a well-known salon in midtown and spent 5 years as a stylist and manager. I began Poppy shortly after. I cherish the one-on-one experience I can offer my clients, in a safe and peaceful space.I love building strong relationships with my clients and helping them express their personalities through their appearance. Whether it’s a fun creative color, a modern classic look, or spontaneous bangs!I I also specialize in hair loss and hair retention in regards to clients and their chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
