So kind and inviting! She is definitely a pro at what she does! My husband and son both have difficult hair with multiple cowlicks and we gave her creative freedom to do what she thought would be best with their hair type and she nailed it! “I've been getting my hair cut with Alexa for probably close to a year, and I've always been happy with it. I like a high and tight fade with longer, stylized/combed hair on top. With previous hair stylists at different shops I was never 100% happy with the end result. When I had my first appointment with Alexa and described what I wanted, however, she knew exactly what I was describing and she's never done a bad job. “I came to see Diana Ciocan for a scalp facial. I have never gotten this service done before but after this first experience I do see myself getting more in the future. Before scheduling our appointment, Diana made sure to inform me of what a scalp facial entailed step-by-step and in detail so there wouldn’t be any surprises. When I arrived at my appointment, I was immediately greeted by a receptionist and asked if I’d like anything to drink (which is never a requirement for salons but it’s always a nice little gesture that elevates the customer experience). Barely a minute after taking a seat in the waiting area/boutique space, Diana greeted me and helped me right away. As the appointment started, she made sure to get to know more about my past experiences with other salon services and hair care routine, which shows the concern she has with ensuring none of the products/services she offers won’t have any adverse reactions. I have thin hair and because of that I am extremely self-conscious when other people touch my head, but Diana wasn’t judgmental about it at all and still made me feel beautiful and cared for while providing me with different hair regrowth tips during the facial. The scalp facial was such a relaxing experience, I damn near fell asleep in my seat a couple of times! My hair came out so soft and my scalp has never felt so fresh and light before. All throughout Diana and I had a great time getting to know each other. She is kind, personable, and exercises a lot of care when helping people. I’m sure I’ll be seeing her again in the future. I’m really particular about my hair and haven’t found a stylist I want to stay with here in Sacramento after living here for almost 4 years. My hair is somewhat difficult to cut and she transformed my last bad cut into a beautiful, sleek A-line bob. I had a vision of what I wanted and she made it happen - I couldn’t be happier.

In addition to being a highly experienced stylist, she’s such a nice person. She’s attentive, kind, and warm, and really made me feel at ease. The people who run bello Salon Suites are so professional and kind and keep the common areas impeccably clean. The location near Cal Expo and Howe ‘bout Arden is ideal with easy access from 50 and 80.“

“I do not like getting new stylists. It is challenging for me to find someone that will follow what I want and properly trim my hair. I came here on a whim. Previously, I had my hair trimmed and styled in South Korea on a family trip. I found this salon one of the few places with someone actually present. Jan followed what I want: kept the length (multi-layered hair at mid-back length), left the layers alone and accurately eyeballed where my shortest layer should be). They basically followed the pattern and style that the previous stylist had left behind. I am pleased with the trim. It looks natural. Good quality for the price. I have razor, straight, asian hair. I also really appreciated that Jan did not style it or blow-dry it, or need to wet and wash my hair to do the job.

She made me laugh when she was using a hair clip but then it flew away and fell on the ground and she just kept on trimming my hair anyway. I recommend this place and Jan.“

I went in with fried ends after two other stylists were too squeamish to cut them off. I explained everything, she listened and she showed me pictures. I told her what I love and what I hate, and she absolutely nailed it. She also gave me really good advice for my hair and for a personal issue, too. I feel like I look so much better.
