My brother has been getting his perms & haircuts done by Lin over the past year & she does such an amazing job with his hair. We drive an hour out just to see her because no one does it better than her! Thank you Lin!!

Super unprofessional woman who has terrible time management, you'll end up waiting 30-1 hour for her to start. I got a perm done and she told me to wash it when I got home, I googled it and your not supposed to wash your hair for 3 days. After 1 day my perm was gone and I messaged her many times over 4 days. She ghosted me completely and so I spent $130 for nothing. Most salons would fix the problem but she's so full of herself that she ghosted me. I gave her every opportunity to make it right, any other salon would have made it right but she wouldn't even respond to me. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT SALON, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DRIVE A LITTLE BECAUSE IN SAC THERE ARE LIKE 4 CHOICES BUT IM TELLING YOU THATS THE WAY TO GO. SHES A THEIF AND HAS A HORROBLE PERSONALITY. don't make the same mistake I did and choose her because of the limited choices.

Didn't even wash hair. My brother just came back from here and they did no styling, no washing. Sorry to give a low review, but it was that bad.

Good quality men perms, but at an extremely high pricing. You can find cheaper options in sacramento. Was a customer of this place for 2 years until she started to upsell the men's hair perm without acknowledging and confirming with me first. It's usually $100, however after the 3rd visit within 7-8 months she raised the price on me at 110 after we got done with the perm, quoting that prices are rising. It was definitely a surprise and since that happened I have lost trust in this place ever since that happened.... She constantly tries to sell you shampoo/moisturizer that she has rather than give advice on what products to use. Place is only ran by one person, if you have an appointment during peak rushes, good luck. Ended up walking out on a Tuesday appointment because she said she was free at 2pm. Had about 4 customers waiting....

It's very good if you want a simple Korean-looking haircut but otherwise poor. The lady is a bit pushy if you don't want a perm. I asked to keep my hair long but she said long hair was hard to work with so I went along with it. I then realized she wanted to cut the back short so she could push a perm onto me. I got the perm to see how it looked and was not a fan. Did appreciate how she locked the door as there was an aggressive homeless man outside.

Lin is incredible and always gives me the hairstyle that I want! Call in advance (around a week if you can) because she's always booked and busy. The salon is quiet and clean.

This was my first time getting a perm and Lin did such an amazing job! I've always had straight hair and getting a perm was the way to go. I like how it has more texture and volume now. I'm for sure coming back again!

hair story is definitely the place to go to for perms! i was always nervous to perm my pin straight hair but she gets it right every time! doesn't take long and is so affordable for how good the perm is. each perm lasts me about 4 months before i have to get a new one, but my hair has maintained it's healthiness throughout. i would absolutely recommend talking to lin for some hair product suggestions after the perm is done. thank you so much to lin for such good service and lovely conversations!
