Our appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, but we were not brought into a room until 10:45 AM. After that, we continued to wait and did not see the doctor until nearly an hour later. While the provider was thorough in their examination and addressed all of our questions thoughtfully, there was a significant error in the prescription process. The prescription was mistakenly sent to a pharmacy in Washington State. Although the doctor’s office confirmed it was ready for pick-up, the pharmacy informed us of the location error upon arrival. Overall, the medical care was satisfactory, but the service and attention to detail left much to be desired.
My very first office visit was on 4-11-25, I am also new to Elica Health Center. I was a bit hesitant to walk in not sure how my experience was going to be, due to normally having insurance in a big hospital setting. I also was concerned due to having to go to the emergency in Nov of 2023 knowing that I would need to be referred to a GI specialist. I was concerned hoping they would send out for a referral and hoping all would go well. I just want to say my experience was great from the ladies in the front (appointment at 9:20 AM) to the gentleman that took my vitals. At this place, Elika Health Center, one of the best doctors, works, but the reception desk and nurses are people who waste time and can not determine the correct appointment time. Each appointment for my children takes 2 to 3 hours.
