A nice neighborhood hardware store with a basic selection but not overwhelming like a big box store. Attentative staff but the cashiers were kinda awkward/odd. I had to share about my wonderful experience(s) at Ace Hardware on Folsom because it’s such a difficult situation trying to match old paint! The first batch of paint was the wrong finish, the second batch was too light and the third time was “the charm!” First of all, Julie or Jules never once rushed me or herself to get me close to the exact match! I could tell that she actually cared about what she was doing and I even overheard one of her coworkers telling her to “take a break”. Thank you to all the quality employees who saw me multiple times yesterday and today and especially Julie for going above and beyond! Went in not knowing exactly what I wanted/needed to get rid of a gnat problem. I don’t have indoor plants, already cleaned and covered all drains, spray constantly, and still have gnats. An employee by the name of Pam, was extremely professional, friendly, empathetic, and super helpful. She gave me a handful of great suggestions and led me straight to the products and was so kind and made my whole experience so pleasant. I’ll only be going to this store from now on for any of my home/DIY/hardware/etc needs. Ps they also sell take n bake pie there which I didn’t buy but have great things about lol.
