The staff greeted me right away and were very easy to talk to while I walked through the grounds. The landscaping is kept up well and provides a very quiet atmosphere that feels tucked away from the surrounding neighborhood traffic, which makes the whole place feel much more private than I expected. The historical buildings and the green lawns are impressive and create a solid sense of permanence and history, although it would be nice if the entry area looked just as polished as the rest of the park. Accessible and peaceful at the same time, pleasantly present within the neighborhood but sheltered from the bustle, the grounds lovingly cared for and greened within reason for Sacramento summers. Would not want to be interred anywhere else, please don't disturb my remains.
I’d like to share my sincere appreciation for John at East Lawn for the incredible support he provided during my grandmother’s funeral arrangements. John was patient, understanding, and truly went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. He explained each step clearly, answered every question, and made a very emotional process feel calm and manageable.
