As you may know during the covid pandemic new pool construction went through the roof! I called multiple pool builders in the Sacramento area with some, (sac pool pros) telling me they wanted 1,000 dollars just to come to my house for a quote. The pool builders that did come to my home were giving me ridiculous quotes when they found out I had minimal (less than 6 feet) side access.In came Oscar with Dolphin Pools and Spa. Oscar, who is the owner had no problem with the small side yard access. Dolphin Pools played a major role in getting our owner-builder pool construction completed. They did the excavation, plumbing, electrical, and steel in the middle of winter allowing me to pass inspection with flying colors and get the gunite done in an unbelievable amount of time. Oscar and his crews were very professional and kept everything clean, and were able to answer all my questions (which I had a lot of)! I have to say I'm fairly skeptical of the negative review I read here. Building pool is a tough endeavor and not for the faint of heart. That being said, expect some bumps and bruises along the way. Things are going to happen. That being said, I had quite a few lessons learned myself. I wish I would've had Oscar and Dolphin Pools involved earlier because they made the process so much easier for me. Everyone was on time and sometimes worked well into the evening. They made my owner-builder project well worth it. No problems with inspections and no issues with cleanup. In the end everything looked great! I never heard them once say anything negative about me designing and building my own pool like several other pool companies. I'm glad we did business!
