You want to know why you can't use your state funded MediCal at Kaiser,Sutter,John Muir,UC Davis,Northbay or any other decent private doctors in the state? It's because The Department of Health Care Services has placed caps on how many new MediCal members these hospitals can accept unless they were already members from having that provider through an employer or Covered California. The Department of Healthcare Services and Managed health care companies across the state are forcing MediCal members to go too these poorly ran poorly rated community clinics because the more people they have going to these clinics the more money the state gets from the government.
