Honestly what a disappointment. Anthony tried to cancel 2 days before major event due to plumbing issues. I contested and they made it work. I Upon arrival was notified that the chef wasn't available and price would be deducted from bill and price would be reduced. Price stayed same as original quote. Honestly a disappointment through and through and I'd say this place promises things that they are nowhere able to deliver. If I'd have more time id pursue getting my money back

This was a previous review from 2020 that never was posted but thought I should still share. I'm very disappointed in this venue. My fiancé and I fell in love with the services when we visited last year. At first we thought the venue was out of our budget but after working with Kathy C. we were excited to find out there was a way we could make this venue work for our 11k budget. Now fast forward to COVID times. Our wedding was canceled in April by venue due to SIP order (which is totally understandable) and they gave us the option to move the date to any date available, so we picked Sept. As things started to open back up in June, I reached out to our contact Kathy C. to verify the venue is still a go for our Sept. date and I got a very short response stating "yes, Dear.... we are actually licensed under restaurants/bar so yes, we are able to have your event with whatever protocols ---they all should be loosened up a lot after Trump's convention!" Which I don't feel adding in the Trump comment is irrelevant to what I had inquired about. Fast forward a month later my fiancé calls worried about the venue canceling again and he wanted someone to call him back. Instead we get an email back from Kathy C. with the CDC protocols they are doing and included irrelevant information "Gov Newsom just imposed a 3 week set back thanks to LA not following CDC protocol" which I feel again is irrelevant to what is going on currently in Sacramento County and the COVID numbers. Fast forward a few weeks, I reach out again worried about things shutting down in Sac County due to their categorization as a "restaurant/bar" and how I felt unsettled that I had to continue to follow up with her every time there was a shutdown update in Sac County. In the email I sent I was very respectful with my expression of the concerns. I gave her a list of questions to answer directly as well as stating that it would have been less concerning for us if she had sent a "simple email saying everything is Okay would have sufficed." Her response came back in 3 different emails at 3 different times of the day. Which I perceive that she was angry we are concerned and that she was bothered by my questions. Her tone in the email as well seemed as if we were just a number to her. (Which last I checked in any customer service situation the customer is always right) In her 3 responses she states: more LA information, which is irrelevant to Sacramento County's climbing COVID numbers and the current shutdown in place; "Sounds like you have convinced yourself to move and that is A-ok" which I never once said we wanted to move our date and the last response states that she reached out to us about the protocols...which she did but that was after I had reached out to her about if they could accommodate our wedding. A few days later she sends another email with even more wedding dates. These emails were very unsettling because we have a non-refundable amount of 7k and we feel like anytime we reach out we are bothering her. The originally canceled our first date in April and only they offered us postponement. Which made us feel we were stuck with the venue even though no where in the contract does it state anything about keeping our money due to the venue canceling our date. Since we felt stuck we resigned for another date. Now I regret fighting to try to get our money back. I would have expected better customer service from such a prestigious venue that they claim to be. I would have never expected the nice lady we met for our tour was going to be rude via email when we reach out about our concerns.

Spent a night here with my daughter. It was very peaceful and quiet, great for relaxing, with wonderful restaurant options and shopping nearby. Although it's so serene, you would never know it. Unfortunately, none of their spa or pool services were available, closed for remodeling or something... you would think this would lower the room price, but it did not. Would have been absolutely dreamy had they had these services available.
Probably note worthy... Our room was upstairs (I believe they only have one downstairs, but I'm not sure), and there was no elevator, so you must be able to climb the stairs. I'm disabled so it was a challenge.

They aren't what they used to be. Quality and service has gone in the garbage. They could care less and went from a five star resort to a zero. I would take my business associate there but would be ashamed to do so now. But there prices definitely do not meet their expectations by a far. Shameful it all went downhill. Not even clean! It's gross in several ways. Even a low budget place would now put them to shame. It's unfortunate.
