Working with Shear Perfection Landscape & Maintenance Co. was a wonderful experience. Chad, the owner, was very helpful and had some great ideas about the project for my backyard, which needed a total overhaul. He answered all of my MANY questions, sometimes more than once! Every aspect of the project (timelines, cost, process) was clearly communicated, in writing, and I really appreciated that there were no surprises.
Chad introduced me to all of the guys on the crew (Cesar, Romeo, Roberto and David..I apologize if I missed anyone!) and explained who would be doing what. They were all friendly and respectful. Hunter came by at a later date (because of weather issues) to stain/seal the deck and install some of the irrigation equipment. He was also very friendly and professional. This company does things right and has wonderful employees! And I also want to give a shout out to Vanessa (office manager), who coordinated various aspects, especially communication, regarding the project. She responded quickly to my texts and phone messages, and is definitely a huge asset of Shear Perfection!
I will be using Shear Perfection again later in the month to seal/stain/stamp the concrete work that they completed a couple of weeks ago. Overall, I have been very pleased with my experience with this company! 😊

The project of installing pavers and synthetic grass has been a smooth and successful process, everyone has been considerate and thoughtful. The outcome was exactly what was promised. I especially appreciate being kept updated by Vanessa of what to expect during the process, she was always pleasant and thoughtful.

This was the very best experience I have had with a contractor! They are very professional. Chad's workers are very cordial and accommodating. I have 2 dogs that needed to go outside several times a day. They were conscientious about closing the gate when this arised. They are extremely hard workers and definitely experienced with everything they do. My entire front yard was redone. Fountain, plants, stumps, rocks and fences rebuilt. But in addition, they did a lot of cement pouring in the front as well as the back yard.
However, the best part was how they truly listened to what I wanted. Chad went the extra miles to find us the dwarf, hardy fescue grass we wanted. They built a trellis for a section by our walkway for my potted climbing roses and to provide extra shade protection for my Camellia bush! Chad and I met at our local nursery and helped me plan all the plants. We purchased some galvanized planters for my hubby's garden. He is handicapped and we are old. They assisted us with moving them to our desired location. In addition, I purchased cement planter boxes that were EXTREMELY heavy. They worked with me on different moves in the planting area. And we had to move them several times before I was happy. I'm sure they were perturbed over moving 400 pound cement planters, but they still did it with smiles on their faces!
If you want something done in your yard, i would only choose Shear Perfection! Not only were they accommodating, but their prices were reasonable for everything I had done!

I’m so glad I ran into Chad with Shear Landscape at the Hone & Garden show in February’25. I told him about my landscaping concerns ( gravel; un useable spaces). He came out and gave me a very reasonable bid and within 2 weeks his crew was out getting started. Extremely satisfied with the project and definitely recommend Shear Landscaping for all your landscape needs.

My experience with Shear Perfection was great. Chad and his team were easy to work with and they took care to address my concerns about an existing water supply line. They were working in an area packed with tree roots & utilities, and PG&E used too much paint while marking. Romero and his crew cleaned it all up going the extra mile to make the project right. The concrete work is exceptional. I highly recommend Shear Perfection.
