Tom could have easily taken advantage of us by simply doing what we thought we needed, but he was adamant that we didn't need to remove the existing cellulose, clean, disinfect, air seal, and blow fiberglass back in to meet R49. He was the best value with the full scope with his price towards the lower side of the middle price, so we were going with him regardless. His explanations of why we didn't need to do everything we thought we needed to do all made sense. We ended up having them blow over the existing to a total R49, including the existing.
