My husband and I were both referred to Acupuncture Medical Center in Roseville. We had both been dealing with a lot of pain. My husband was having pain in his legs and it was becoming difficult for him to walk and I was experiencing severe pain in my feet making it difficult to walk for me as well. Neither of us knew what to expect. From the first phone call with Ryan who manages the front desk to Molly who took the time to explain everything to us, we both had a warm, positive experience. Owen the acupuncturist definitely has a gift. He not only takes his time evaluating you to determine the right course of action but his gentle treatment is one for the books. He makes you feel comfortable and most importantly he cares about each person he treats and follows your progress thoroughly. My husband and I are both doing amazing and we can’t say enough about the progress we have made under Owen’s care.. I would definitely recommend Acupuncture Medical Center to anyone who is looking to improve their health and well being.

I had lived with pain in my legs for many years and found that little by little I was losing the strength in my legs couldn’t find out what was going on went to my doctor. He sent me to a specialist. They couldn’t figure it out. Their answer was Pain medication I wasn’t going to go that route. Than our daughter had mentioned Owen and his acupuncture practice. We thought we’d give it a shot, both my wife and I are so impressed with the results not only is the pain gone in my legs, but I’m regaining my strength more and more in my legs. Owen was referred by a friend when I was on day 3 of a completely locked neck & muscle spasms. I had tried chiropractic care and massage therapy and neither had worked. I am seventy-eight years old and have been receiving acupuncture treatments from Owen at the Acupuncture Medical Center for the past two months. The improvement in my overall well-being has been remarkable.

I came in with long-standing muscle spasms, chronic tension, low energy, and the sense that my nervous system had been running on high alert for years. I had tried many medical approaches over time, including medications and different therapies, but nothing brought the lasting relief I was looking for.

I had also tried acupuncture in the past, but those experiences felt more like quiet spa visits. Pleasant enough, but there was no real treatment plan and no way to measure progress. The actual treatment takes only a couple of minutes, and I am usually in and out in about five to ten minutes. The results, however, have been significant.

The muscle spasms in my neck, shoulder, and back have improved dramatically. My thinking is clearer, my mood is steadier, and I can breathe more freely and deeply. I have more stamina than I have had in many years, and I have even returned to playing golf after assuming I no longer had the energy for it.

From the first phone call to the first treatment and moving forward the entire staff is professional and caring. I went in due to a pinched nerve and Bells Palsy. I heard about Owen and the Acupuncture Medical Center from a friend that recommended treatment because they had seen a lot of improvement with their son with depression. I have a list of chronic illnesses that I have been seeing many specialists over for nearly 15 years now. These specialists in their fields have dismissed my symptoms or resulted in adding medications that are not helpful. I have turned to diet and lifestyle changes in the last few years as a new treatment approach. I was very skeptical in the beginning of acupuncture because I did not want to feel more pain than what I'm feeling already. I also didn't understand how acupuncture works. I spent weeks researching acupuncture trying to figure out how it affects the nervous system and circulation. Everything I thought I knew I feel like I still don't fully understand, but would definitely recommend coming to see Owen! Owen is the first person that has seen me and my symptoms for what they really are and hasn't dismissed me. It's actually very validating that everything that I'm going through is real. I have had 16 visits so far. I come twice a week and now starting to be able to eat foods that I haven't been able to eat due to sensitivities and inflammation for several years! To have sourdough bread or a slice of cheese is something I could have only dreamed about! I could instantly feel better circulation my first day. I don't know how to explain it but I could almost feel dizzy from the extra oxygen flooding my body. Now circulation is part of my weekly routine. I dont need to undress or lay down, every treatment is done in a chair and on my extremities. Just a poke in each spot and I'm done. In and out in less than 10 minutes. The staff in the office are so welcoming, understanding, patient with me. It's almost uncomfortable to be treated so kindly! This isn't regular medicine that we are used to, but it is medicine that works!

Basically since the first day I started visiting, I've had significant improvement in pain, mobility, general health. I'm definitely feeling a huge diff from where I was in early December. I've had major pain issues in my right hip area for many years and because of my treatments, it's basically gone!
