“We had Ever do a very large project for us and couldn't have asked for more. Absolutely loved it. He kept his initial appointment on time and listened to what we wanted him to do and then made a few suggestions which worked out perfectly. He and his team were here for 3 days and did the following: replace the sprinkler system in the back, fine tuned those in the front, pruned 30 rosebushes, dug up split and repositioned about 100 iris bulbs, planted gardenias, camellias and azaleas in areas which had been previously difficult to care for, seeded the bald spots on the lawn, etc. etc. We could not be happier with all that he did and will definitely keep in touch for all future projects. Great guy! Terrific gardening expert.“

“I contacted Liu Landscape after running into some difficulty with my sideyard and backyard renovation. Crystal quickly scheduled a site visit, and I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable about planning and permitting for my city. This was of utmost importance to me since I had to fire my prior contractor for reneging on promised permits. I requested a 3D design (hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, turf, outdoor tile) and was able to find a lot of inspiration from the company's own website. Crystal delivered the initial design and requested revisions within a couple of days. I really loved the modern design, and we requested a quote for construction as well. Ultimately, I did not pursue construction with Liu Landscape, but this was mostly due to personal budgetary constraints. Her quote was actually very competitive (compared to 5+ other bids). Over several months, Crystal remained willing to correspond with and help me with my project. She even provided a 2D layout upon request. Regarding her communication style, Crystal is quite matter-of-fact over text and e-mails and warm during in-person meetings. It was a very difficult decision to not work with Liu Landscape, because I really loved the design and plan. As mentioned above, I cannot comment specifically on construction, but had positive experiences with communication and design/planning services.“

“I can't say enough about how great our yard now looks. Jamescapes did a great job! James came out after I had received 2 other quotes. The other 2 were just going to do what I asked - put a bunch of gravel and some plants with a drip system on my front yard - left side. The yard slants down some and the grass was too hard to maintain. It was pretty ugly looking. I've included some before and after pictures.

I wanted one more quote. James suggested another approach. He said gravel next to our large driveway with a few plants would look to plain. He suggested some rock formations with ground covering and plants - and for about the same price as the others had quoted - in fact he was less than one of them. I'm glad I agreed to go with James and his team. I had seen his pictures on other reviews and they all looked nice. They removed all the grass, removed older outdated plants, hauled it all away. They put down weed cover, re-arranged and updated the sprinklers, added rock formations with various size rocks, then plants, and ground covering and then a quality mulch blend (not home depot stuff). James is really creative with his designs and takes pride in his work. The day they were finishing, we left several hours before they were done, for a couple days. James wanted to come back in the evening to see how things looked lit up (we decided to go with nice brass lighting fixtures). He came back at night, took pictures and texted them to me. We liked his work so much, we decided to have him do a whole lot more of our yard. And he recently came back and added some more nice upgrades for us. If you want a nice looking yard; something you can enjoy.

“We hired Talgarden to fix our yard after a year of moving into our new place. We moved at the tail end of my cancer treatment and the yard was one of those things that was neglected in that first year. When we finally had the wherewithal to tackle it, we realized that the previous owners had just cut the grass and trimmed the bushes before selling, but hadn't dealt with any of the underlying yard issues.We hired Talgarden to do the big clean up and we've had them doing weekly maintenance for the past five months since.Joseph was easy to communicate with and set up the initial assessment and date for the big fix.
