“We contacted Mike to put a new window in one of our bedrooms. when we moved in 7 years ago, we replaced all the windows in our house. Mike was the only contractor that took the time to research the manufacturer of the windows we previously had installed to make sure we had a close to exact match to add a new window in one of our bedrooms...and he found it. it's not an exact match as things change over 7 years but it was as close as possible. Mike and his crew did such a great job, you couldn't even tell there was NOT a window there before. They cleaned up the area and even painted the interior wall that the window was installed in. We liked working with Mike so we called him back for another small job and had him install our new front door. We still have a bathroom and kitchen we want to remodel...we'll be calling him again!“

“Prior to a HVAC project, we were referred to Allied Insulation to remove and vacuum the loose insulation from our attic. We contacted Allied Insulation, and they came out immediately. Their technician was also really knowledgeable, gave us a quote and day they could start. They were reasonable, knowledgeable and showed up on time, took all of the old insulation out of the attic and replaced it with state-of-the-art maximum density insulation. They accomplished the entire job in one day including clean-up. I can't say enough about these folks.“

“V & J Stairs did an excellent job installing a new railing in our townhouse. Andy was prompt with coming to check out our setup, and was clearly an expert. He asked if there was any spare flooring that he could use to match the stain of the bannister, and when we weren't sure as we had recently moved in, he suggested there might be some spares in the garage - which there were.During the construction day, he and his team did an excellent job assembling it. There were some mid-day changes, as they reconsidered how to handle the old metal rail, and eventually used it as the skeleton for the new. It looks great, and will be much safer for little kids than our old rail with the bottom gap.Very happy with their work - would gladly recommend to anyone.“
“We hired Unique Remodeling to do an entire gut renovation of our house which included knocking down walls to open up a kitchen, creating a new bedroom out of a 2nd floor den, and completely changing the layout of two bathrooms. I worked directly with Effie who was the day to day lead on the project. Overall, I am very happy with the end result for the price we paid and am giving a 5 star rating based on value, responsiveness, and honesty.Before hiring Effie and his team I got quotes from 3 contractors, Unique Remodeling wasn't the cheapest but they were much less than the most expensive. I hired Effie because it was clear that he had deep experience actually doing the work.
